A graduate of Knoxville College and the University of Tennessee’s Consortium for Social Enterprise Effectiveness, Johnson has led SEEED since 2009, launching initiatives like solar-powered affordable homes and the Edible Forest to address poverty and climate justice. Now, he is channeling his experience into a bid for Knoxville City Council, aiming to amplify community voices and expand equity-driven solutions citywide.
"For years, I’ve worked to build and deliver a more equitable, stronger, and safer East Knoxville. Now, I’m ready to take this work to City Council for the 6th district where I can utilize my skills by leading and listening to our neighbors."
